Requirements for Security Officer Jobs

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

Must be PSIRA registered with a valid Grade C certificate.
Must have a valid training certificate for the relevant security grades.
Must have at least 2 years of experience as an ordinary security guard.
Must have no criminal record.
Must be physically fit, responsible and disciplined.
Must be willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
Must be a South African citizen.

Security Officer Duties and Responsibilities

Successful candidates will be responsible for protecting clients, property and assets while maintaining a safe and secure environment.

Key duties include:

Performing access control duties.
Conducting regular security patrols.
Protecting clients, property and company assets.
Writing accurate incident reports.
Completing OB entries and maintaining security records.
Following all security procedures and instructions.
