Administration Officer: Property Acquisition and Leasing

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • Qualification: A 3-year National Diploma (NQF6) or Bachelor’s Degree (NQF7) in Public Management, Facilities Management, Property Management, or Disaster and Safety Management.
  • Experience: 1–2 years of experience in Property Acquisition and Leasing.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Batho Pele Principles, PFMA, Treasury Regulations, and the Building Environment.
  • Key Skills: High sense of urgency, accountability, proficiency in MS Excel, strong report writing, and excellent interpersonal communication.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

As an Administration Officer, your daily tasks will include:

  • Acquiring and renewing leased office accommodation.
  • Conducting site inspections to ensure OHS (Occupational Health and Safety) compliance.
  • Processing lease expenditures and ensuring payments are settled within 30 days.
  • Maintaining organized electronic folders for all accommodation issues.
